What this policy covers

This policy describes how Codolo ("we", "us"), the mobile app published under the bundle identifier app.codolo, handles personal data for people who use the app or this website.

Account data

If you create an account, we store the email address and authentication method you use to sign in (email and password, or Sign in with Apple / Google). We use this solely to identify your account and secure access to it.

Your imported content

Text you import, from a photo, a camera scan, a PDF, a file, or pasted content, is processed on your device to extract readable text and is stored in your device’s local library by default.

When you use a text-to-speech voice that requires cloud processing rather than an on-device voice, the relevant text is sent to our server-side speech synthesis service solely to generate the audio and is not retained for any purpose beyond that.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscription purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and processed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (active/inactive, plan type) but never see your payment details, which are handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

What we don’t do

Codolo does not include third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting support (see the Support page), or by using the account deletion option inside the app.
